Landscape services.-Planning Planning Applications
We offer a comprehensive planning service to facilitate local authority needs. This includes the submitting of plans to a client or architect in paper form or electronic format, using the latest AutoCAD technology incorporating Plantus and Plantare software. This service can be co-ordinated in conjunction with all other professional services, causing no delay to your planning application.
Tree Survey
On most small projects a tree survey will not be required. In some cases particularly with planning requirements, the local authority requests that a tree survey is carried out. This outlines the type, quantity, size and position of all trees on site and denotes the condition of all trees. Any proposals for the removal of trees that may cause hazards or obstructions in relation to the proposed construction must also be outlined.
Landscape services.-Non Planning. Initial Visit
Once a query is made we arrange a site visit at a time convenient to the client. This forms part of the basic enquiry and allows for discussion with the client to outline proposals and establish the costs involved in the design process. Site Survey
On agreement with the client a site survey will be carried out. This establishes the site lines, house contours, existing planting, trees, structures and features. It also takes note of the site aspect, important for the best placement of hard landscaping areas. The information is then used for the preparation of the outline plan.
Master Plan
The master plan is the main landscape plan. It denotes the position of all hard landscape areas, features, lawn areas, planting areas, car parking and driveway layouts. It will give a brief description of the proposed materials to be used and may show details of any features that are to be constructed.
Planting Plan
The planting plan is based on the master plan but with the planting positions being denoted. A key or legend will accompany the plan to aid the construction. A bill of quantities will also be included, along with a planting specification and workmanship detail.
Service Plan
If required we can also provide a plan for additional water requirements, lighting, and storm water or foul water movement details.
